The Necessity of Facilitating Truck Entry and Exit at Iran-Turkey Borders

According to the Public Relations of Saba Transport Company, quoting the Public Relations of Iran Customs, the Iranian customs delegation held joint meetings with Turkish customs officials to discuss various customs procedures and processes.

According to the report, the Iranian customs delegation, consisting of the Director General of the Central Office for Security and Disciplinary Affairs of Customs, the Director General of the Transit Office, the Head of the Information Technology and Cybersecurity Office, the Customs Supervisor of West Azerbaijan Province, and accompanying members, visited the Ankara Logistics Customs, Istanbul Airport Customs, and Ambarli Port Customs.

Reza Rasti, Director General of the Transit Office at Iran Customs, stated: “During the specialized meetings with Turkish customs officials, emphasis was placed on facilitating the entry and exit of trucks at the border.”

Rasti added: “A field visit to observe customs procedures and formalities at land, air, sea customs, and express post customs in Turkey was among the other activities of the Iranian customs delegation.”
